Was Michael Jackson’s Death a Suicide or Homicide?
The LA coroner ruled Michael Jackson’s death is now a homicide and drugs were the cause of death. That ruling makes it more likely that criminal charges will be filed against the doctor who gave Michael the drugs and was with Jackson when he died. Tests have found that the anesthetic propofol acted together with at least two sedatives to cause Michael Jackson’s death.
But calling it a Homicide seems to shift the responsibility of death away from Michael Jackson who repeatably demanded the powerful sedative he called his “milk”. Was it more of an accidental suicide because Jackson had demanded the drug. Surely the Doctor has some responsibility in this, but is it a Homicide?
