Why does Lady Gaga have to demean herself despite having incredible talent?
I thought doing shows in g-strings and bikini’s are only for those who have to resort to sex appeal as their only option to grab attention. But really, Lady Gaga is incredibly talented, why does she have to demean herself by wearing thongs on stage? Have any of you heard her voice? That chick can belt a tone.
I’m referring to her performance tonight at the MMVA’s.
Lady GaGa is extremely inspired by fashion. She has a song called fashion, and she even said in an interview she thinks about what she will be wearing on stage while she sings a song. She also is an adult, and can be sexual if she wants to be. She doesn’t see it as "demeaning" herself, she just thinks of it as her type of fashion. Lady GaGa’s outfit on the MMVA’s was not very revealing, just a little in the front. Besides that, Lady GaGa is a high fashion artist who, yes, can belt those notes. she has a great voice and really doesn’t need to resort to that to get attention! Usually singers dress like that if they dont have the talent to back them up.

Lady GaGa has always had a tendency to be flamboyant and extravagent, at the very least "theatrical". Capturing the audience’s attention plays a large part in a great show, and Lady GaGa’s doing just that: Capturing the audience’s attention with sex appeal, and a flawless voice.
